St. Francis College for Women started its Model United Nations jouney in the year 2015 through its Intra College MUN. We started off with just one council to give the girls a taste of the trend of Model United Nations. SMILE club, which aims at providing social enrichment for the college's students, along with the Management of the college felt that the girls of the college needed a platform to exhibit their oratory skills, profound sensibility and compassion towards the evils of the world and also knowledge about countries and their issues. Hence, we hosted an HRC council with the agenda of  discussing the effects of human and sex trafficking across borders.

 

We are now stepping into the big bad world of Inter Collegiate MUN conferences. Our aim is to bring quality debating with a touch of humanity and sensitivity to it all. An MUN ought to be a good mix of quality debating, a bit of networking, a lot of fun and ofcourse oodle of learning. We aim to cater to just that and we'll settle for nothing less.
